Update 11/06/2025
Good afternoon,
In our last update, we advised that we are working with Mulalley to achieve partial possession of Block C. We've provided them with some information they requested from us and we're now awaiting their response.
If we're unable to get partial possession of Block C, our next step would be to aim for practical completion (PC) of the entire site. Block C can occupy once we’ve taken PC. Occupation of Block B, as we've indicated previously, comes with a risk regarding the building safety registration. We had hoped to receive all required documents from Mulalley before PC and while we can commission third parties to provide some of the necessary documents , in order to take greater control of the process, there are certain documents that only Mulalley can provide, for example their Quality Assurance Inspection Reports and also the Fire Engineer’s Collateral Warranty. We'll need assurance from Mulalley that we’ll receive this essential documentation before we can agree to take on the entire site.
Once we achieve PC, we estimate it will take around four months to gather all the necessary documentation and be ready to register Block B, Yew House to enable occupation. We hope to improve upon this, but we will be very dependent on a number of third-party suppliers, most of whom have a direct contractual relationship with Mulalley, rather than us.
We'll provide another update on Wednesday, 25 June, where we aim to confirm whether we'll be taking partial or full possession.
Kind regards
Luke Chandler – Director of Delivery
