We’re pleased to share some positive progress regarding the Section 278 works. The council has now granted technical approval for the works to proceed — a key milestone that clears the way for the next steps.

Mulalley will now apply for a Section 50 license, which is required before work can officially begin. We’re working directly with a council contact who has assured us the application will be prioritised once received.

What to expect next:

• Section 50 applications typically take 10–30 working days to process.
• For more complex applications, this may extend up to 12 working weeks.
