Update 15/10/2025

Please find our latest update on Fount Spring Place.

We are continuing our internal review of documentation. We now require our external fire safety consultants to conduct a pre-occupation fire risk assessment and review the fire doors within the development. We are currently waiting for a date for this essential inspection. Once the inspection occurs, we will be required to address any necessary actions and provide evidence for final sign-off.

We understand that repeated small delays and ongoing uncertainty are stressful. As just a couple of weeks added to the timeline would cause issues with meeting the December cut-off dates for solicitor completions (which we anticipate will be Monday 22 December), we need to set a reliable date.

We have made the decision to communicate a definitive delay for occupation to January 2026 to provide you with a fixed date for your planning.

Please note that we have a contractual obligation to serve a minimum of 10 days' notice to complete, meaning we would need to serve notice by Monday 6 December to be allow you to complete on your purchase before Christmas. If we can complete all outstanding items, receive all necessary signoffs, submit the documentation to the Building Safety Regulator, and receive confirmation of registration before that date, we will absolutely do so. We want to get you into your new homes as soon as possible, and there is no benefit to us delaying occupations.

We fully recognise the frustration and disappointment this extended period of uncertainty has caused and sincerely apologise for these continued delays.
