The Four Courts consist of four buildings in Hastings, East Sussex: Bevin, Roosevelt, Kennedy and Churchill Court. We will have a range of investment projects taking place in and around the Four Courts and want to engage residents and local stakeholders along the way. This is the site where you can keep up to date with our plans, have your say, and review historical information related to the buildings. We are also in the process of establishing a formally acknowledged Residents' Association and will post future details here.
Bed bugs update
Southern Housing is proposing to treat all homes in the Four Courts with a solution that will kill and prevent the spread of bed bugs. We've treated around 35 homes since April this year at a cost of over £25,000, however we would like to treat all the flats across all four buildings in order to prevent the spread of the bugs.
We would like to consult with you before making a decision. The consultation is open until midnight on 20 December 2024. If you cannot respond by then, please get in touch.
Southern Housing will cover the cost of the proposed treatment, which will take place over 6 weeks, assuming we can access every home. Read FAQs for more information.
We are conducting a survey to gather your views on our proposal to treat homes in the Four Courts for bed bugs. Please complete the survey below, or alternatively:
Fill in the form posted through your door and place it in the special post-boxes near the entrance of each building.
Our team will be door-knocking over the next two weeks to ask you the questions face-to-face.
Attend an informal consultation session on 13th December 09.30-11.30 at the community centre.
Consultation closed.
