Acacia Apartments, White City
We promised to keep you updated on the key actions we’re taking at Acacia Apartments.
We’ve addressed some of the general issues which you’ve raised with us in your building. However, we appreciate there’s still more to do. We want to share the progress being made and our plans to tackle all the concerns you’ve told us about.
Join our Resident Action Group
We're forming a new resident action group to tackle the issues that matter most to you. Whether you're concerned about anti social behaviour, maintenance or have other suggestions - your voice is important to us.
We want to hear from you
Please share your thoughts and ideas by emailing Althea Callum, our Resident Involvement Officer, at Resident.involvement@southernhousing.org.uk by Wednesday 18 June 2025.
First Meeting: Wednesday 25 June 2025 at 6.30pm via Zoom. We'll email you the meeting details closer to the date.
Your safety is our priority
We increased security from 23 May at Acacia Apartments to help you feel safer in your home. Our security team has confirmed the following since this date:
- No rough sleepers observed
- No drug-related incidents
- No unauthorised groups causing disruption.
We're also upgrading the security of your building. We’ve met with DSSL, our access control specialists, who assessed the main entrance, basement areas, back doors, and CCTV systems. We're now working with Berkeley Homes and Rendall & Rittner to implement their security recommendations.
Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)
We’re committed to providing you with an excellent service and if anti social behaviour (ASB) is affecting your quality of life, our trained teams are here to help and advise you.
We will work with you to stop ASB which you can report by calling us on 0800 121 60 60.
Ellis Howe has been assigned as your designated ASB officer. Our ASB team are also visible on the estate and conducting walkabouts, and we’re already in the process of taking enforcement action against identified addresses.
Please speak directly to Ellis or any of our team on site if you feel more comfortable reporting ASB issues this way.
Service charges review
We understand your concerns about service charges. We're scheduled a meeting with Berkeley Homes before the end of next month to review these charges. We'll keep you fully informed of any developments.
Parking reminder
We’d like to remind all residents that White City is a car-free estate. You can load and unload for up to 20 minutes, but longer parking may result in access restrictions to the estate.
Convenient parcel collection
You can now collect small Amazon parcels directly from the Amazon Fresh store on-site:
- Select the Amazon Fresh store as your delivery address at checkout.
- Show your pickup barcode to staff when collecting.
Fire safety - we're here to help
Please let us know if you or anyone in your household would need additional support during a fire emergency:
- Call: 0800 121 60 60 (ask for the Housing Team)
- Email: pcfra@southernhousing.org.uk
Cleanliness in your building
Let us know if communal areas or lifts need specialist cleaning.
We’re unable to deal with issues if we don’t know about them. By telling us, we can take prompt action. You can call 0800 121 60 60 to report any issues.
If you're loading and unloading you must register your vehicle with the concierge on entry to White City
